Wigwam Woman #2

All wigwams need protection. Someone who is strong enough to face down the bad guys but also gentle enough to to cohabit-ate with others. Allow us to introduce you to our Bear. Shmer-Bear, that is. Now, pronunciation practice: it's "sh - mare - bear." Got it? 

The Shmer has been known to bravely answer doors, host repairmen, and always stays cool when the unfamiliar comes knocking. She is not put off by strangers rapping on the front door, but rather bravely answers, ready with a Bear-growl if necessary. And if that is not intimidating enough, just try looking into Shmer-Bear's eyes without quaking in fear of her green-eyed beauty.

But there is a softer side to the Bear. The kind and, one would dare say, cuddly friend we know as Erin. She can often be found beneath five blankets, quietly curled up on the living room sofa contemplating literature texts, studying her Bible, and skillfully writing papers for her classes. 

When not inhabiting the intellectual heights, Erin is a master chef. Last fall, she experimented in the kitchen and made a delectable dish: Pumpkin Risotto. What a joyous time that was for the Wigwam!

The Shmer Bear is also an animal on the dance floor. On the rare and exciting occasion when Shmer graces the dance floor with her presence, her arms lock from shoulders to wrists as her fists rhythmically pulse towards the floor and her shoulders rise up and down. With pursed lips, the Shmer closes her eyes as her facial muscles encapsulate all that is sass. If you are worthy, Shmer may glance at you with a saucy look that makes you feel like this bear of a dancer has got a secret suspicion lurking in her moves.
